This is a small collection of images I took while on vacation in Europe of 2011. I manipulated the images as part of an assignment to create the impression of turn-of-the-century imagery. I did this by deteriorating the photographs with contrast levels, grains and overlays, amongst many other things. My intent was to create images that encouraged the viewer to read the photographs through a different mindset; accessing them as if historical content, rather than holiday snaps.
