city

This is a continuing series in which I explore architecture, primarily in Melbourne. I find architecture pivotal to our culture as it stands as a permanent reminder of where we have come from. Architecture can tell us what what our social values were at the time of construction, and how they have led us to where we are today. To stand on the very stone were someone stood over 100 years ago, to sit in the same seat, or to climb the same stairs can easily go unrecognised, but is something special.
